Protesters in Buenos Aires which include the daughters and ex-wife of Diego Maradona paraded down the street with songs and waved flags in support of Maradona, calling for ‘social and legal justice’ in the case that justice should be given to the death of the legend Maradona.
However, investigators are looking into the circumstances of the football legend’s death in November to establish if there was any negligence involved.
A medical board, at the request of the justice department, met on Monday to analyse the circumstances of his death.
Investigators are taking analyses on his treatment routine whether he wasn’t treated adequately.
Maradona who was battling with drug and alcohol addiction attained a god-like status in his country home and was loved by many despite many challenging situations surrounding him, Maradona was recovering from brain surgery when he died of a heart attack on November 25, 2020.
